Hey I’m Art Parmann. The poker player from the Table 1 Podcast that can’t stop thinking up new businesses to try. So much so that I had a half-baked idea to let the binary team at Polsia try and build something with $1,000. I’m “live-blogging/newslettering” the process with as little intervention as possible from me. But this might be tough because it really sucks so far 😅.
Day 0 (3/22/2026): The Idea. If you missed it, catch up here.
08:12 PM - The idea is a relationship-tracker for your contacts list. I thought Polsia might be clever and have users import their VCF files directly from their mac or something like that. But it wants them to fill out a CSV? Lol good luck with that. Here’s what it looks like right now:

Polsia is backwards for “AI Slop.” But if it thinks our lazy human asses are gonna do anything harder than click an “import contacts” button it’s got another thing coming. If it tries to send paid ads to this version of the website that budget is gonna last about 8 minutes and have 0 conversion.
Day 1 (3/23/2026):
07:43 AM - I checked the dashboard and the MVP that it built. It made some CSV with sample data and I downloaded it and uploaded it back to the site to see what came out. Here’s the result.

I told Polsia that there’s no way that users will fill out a CSV and that it should auto-import from their contacts & use google to log in and grab emails and information from that. This is my first real “time” I’ve had to put into it. It told me I have only 1 “task credit” left and that I should subscribe for more. I guess the 3-day Free Trial doesn’t decide that I’m a member until I pay the $49. I added my credit card, but we’ll see if once this task finishes if I need to pay before it’ll move forward.
The dashboard is as neat as it is simple. It’s got these tasks it queues up while telling you how long it’s been working. The website is up to 20 visitors (maybe some of you guys?!) and obviously $0 revenue since there’s no payment capabilities attached.

My time spent: 15min
03:36 PM - It ran out of the 5 “task credits” that you get per day. I topped it up to $68 a month instead of $49 a month and told it to get back to work. It’s working on the Stripe payments stuff and full user journey end to end now.
Also this is what their “Run Ads” screen looks like. Super simple way to just pay for ads once you have something going. Of course they vig you both sides here. Once the product actually works I’ll see what kind of return it gets.

If I start using this I’ll update you on the ads it makes
Here’s the summary for the day that it’s given:

Me: “Alright I added more credits. What do we got in the pipeline?”
Polsia: Nice, welcome back with credits loaded! Here's the pipeline:
🔴 Stripe payments (currently running) — wiring up the $12/mo and $99/yr plans
⏳ - QA test full user journey → — end-to-end browser test of the whole flow
⏳ - Cold outreach wave 2 → — podcast hosts & community builders
Stripe is actively building right now. Once that lands, QA is next in line. Quick note — the Stripe task was created before we added VCF + Google OAuth, so the QA test should be updated to cover those new import flows too. Want me to update it?
Payments are wired up on KeepClose.
What's live now:
Landing page has a monthly/annual pricing toggle with real Stripe checkout links
After payment, users are redirected back to the app with active subscription
Non-subscribers see an upgrade banner — they can still import contacts for free, but scanning and AI briefs require a subscription
Active subscribers get a "Pro" badge in the header

Founder time spent: 20min
If you want to support the journey and see if the networking app has use to your life (and report bugs to me/my Polsia bot) Go ahead and try us out for $12. You might get something useful, you might get shit. I promise to spend your money on this experiment and continue to share the live results. Come be a part of something dumb!
Or build your own equally dumb thing. If I get referral credits for this I’ll just spend them on this project and see if it flies or dies faster.
Probably won’t update any more the rest of the day. Looks like 20 people have checked this out now. 1,000% growth!
Total Spend to date: $68.
My daily time investment: 35min
Revenue: $0
Updates tomorrow…
