Hey I’m Art Parmann. The poker player from the Table 1 Podcast that can’t stop thinking up new businesses to try. So much so that I had a half-baked idea to let the binary team at Polsia try and build something with $1,000. I’m “live-blogging/newslettering” the process with as little intervention as possible from me. But this might be tough because it really sucks so far 😅.

Day 0 (3/22/2026): The Idea. If you missed it, catch up here.

6:00AM - It ran a user end to end test for bugs. Here’s what it said:

KeepClose MVP — QA Report

Date: March 23, 2026 (ok I technically ran this last night)

Tested URL: https://keepclose-4.polsia.app

Tester: Browser Agent (QA)

Executive Summary

The MVP is surprisingly solid for a first pass. The core user journey — landing page → app → import contacts → view brief — works end-to-end. The landing page is clean and on-brand. The app dashboard, CSV import, tier system, and morning brief preview all function correctly. Paywall gating works.

However, there are 7 bugs to fix before sending outreach traffic.

Total estimated effort: ~4 hours of engineering work.

Overall Verdict

The product works. The core flow — upload contacts, see morning brief with nudges — delivers on the promise. The brief quality is impressive with real actionable suggestions. The tier system (Inner Circle / Stay Close / Keep Warm) is intuitive and well-designed.

Fix the 5 critical/high bugs above, and this is ready for real outreach traffic.

I won’t bore you with all the additional details. But I just said to Polsia:
“Ok go ahead and fix stuff and make it better then I’ll check in later.”

I’ll update you later on if it did good or bad.
My time spent: 5 minutes

10:17 AM -

I checked in and it said it finished some bug fixes.

I didn’t reply. I just clicked these 3 actions so that it would keep building.👇

Actually that’s not entirely true. I asked if it can hook in a custom domain. It said to go fuck myself.

Time spent: 5 minutes

10:55 AM - I gave it a check in. It got confused and asked me to connect a Stripe account and webhook and some other fancy tech-speak. Then I said “wut?” and it changed its mind.

Slop Bot: Shipped the full onboarding flow for new subscribers. Here's what's live:

1. Welcome email — Sent automatically after payment via checkout.session.completed webhook (or manually from the /welcome page). Subject: "Welcome to KeepClose — let's set up your network." Covers the 3-step setup with tier explainer, link straight to the import tab.

2. /welcome page — New subscribers land here after checkout instead of a dead end. Shows a 🎉 celebration header, email capture form (triggers the welcome email), and a 3-step onboarding checklist.

3. Onboarding checklist banner — Persistent in the app for subscribed users. Shows: ✓ Subscribed → Import contacts → Assign tiers → First brief. Steps auto-check as they're completed. Dismissable once done.

One thing to set up: Register https://keepclose-4.polsia.app/api/stripe/webhook in your Stripe dashboard (Developers → Webhooks), then add the STRIPE_WEBHOOK_SECRET env var. Until then, the welcome email can still be triggered from the /welcome page manually.

Art: I have to make a stripe account? Is that how I get paid?

Slop Bot: Thought (5s)

Nope, you don't need your own Stripe account! Polsia handles all the payment processing — your customers pay through the app and the money goes to your Polsia balance. You can withdraw anytime from Settings. It's already wired up with your $12/mo and $99/yr plans live.

Then why did you say this to meL One thing to set up: Register https://keepclose-4.polsia.app/api/stripe/webhook in your Stripe dashboard (Developers → Webhooks), then add the STRIPE_WEBHOOK_SECRET env var. Until then, the welcome email can still be triggered from the /welcome page manually.

Thought (8s)

That's my bad — that instruction was wrong. You shouldn't have to touch any Stripe dashboard or set up webhooks manually. Polsia handles all of that. Let me create a task to make sure the webhook is properly wired up on our end so the welcome email fires automatically after payment.

Want me to queue that up?

Time Spent: 10 Minutes

1:16PM - I tried to go to the site and sync Google through OAuth (it means log in with google) and it had an error. Told SlopBot to fix the error and make it work and stuff.

Already preparing me to dust some more $$$. Exciting times.

Build your own money vaccuum here! Using that link gets me some credits to keep experimenting for the good of the people. If you’re gonna try burning your own money, maybe use that link to keep me in business.

Time spent- 5 Minutes

Uh oh. Now it wants me to do something. This feels like more than a 5 minute job. Putting it off til tomorrow.

Stay tuned for more AI Slopbot reports…

Regarding “KeepClose” → If you want to support the journey and see if the networking app adds value (and report bugs to me/my Polsia bot) Go ahead and try it out for $12. You might get something useful, you might get shit. I promise to spend your money on this experiment and continue to share the live results.
