Hey there! In case you forgot, I’m Art Parmann. The poker player from the Table 1 Podcast that can’t stop thinking up new businesses to try. So much so that I had a half-baked idea to let the binary team at Polsia try and build something with $1,000.

I’m “live-blogging/newslettering” the process with as little intervention as possible from me. But this might be tough because it really sucks so far 😅.

Day 0 (3/22/2026): The Idea. If you missed it, catch up here.
Day 1 - 35 Minutes. Revenue $0. Expenses $68.
Day 2 - 20 Minutes. Revenue $0. Expenses $0.
Day 3 - 40 Minutes. Revenue $0. Expenses $0.
Days 4-18?! - Speaking of as little intervention as possible…Yeah. It’s been a couple weeks of stagnation. I haven’t checked in and I kinda hoped the robots would do something. But apparently it’s not a magic subscription to get free money.

I’ve got til April 23rd to decide if it’s worthy of more budget. But for now I just don’t see how I’d give it more of my attention (or money for that matter). Instead, I’ve shifted my focus onto the thing I teased at in the last newsletter…AskCharlotte. That’s a live tracker. Kinda neat. Stole that from Polsia. You were good for something at least!

So how did I build Charlotte? Seems worthy of a R2F newsletter post since that’s what this is all about. Building businesses with a poker mind. Go ahead and grab a coffee and I’ll tell you about it…

If you’re in the AI streets at all you know about OpenClaw. It’s basically LLM technology + the ability to do things autonomously. The thing is, it’s not that easy to use or set up. But eventually, I got it set up to be my personal assistant. Sort of.

I tried 3 different variations on 3 different old PCs. They’re capable of doing some pretty cool shit. But all that tinkering led me to the one that I’m most proud. The “Poker” personality that comes pre-loaded now at AskCharlotte.ai/poker.

After much trial and error (and so many API credits 🤑) she’s got 4 slick features that make her awesome. If you’re a poker player you’re gonna love these:

  1. Table Scout - Charlotte scans for your favorite games & tells you when they’re about to start.

This is just the UI if you’re on the dashboard. You can actually just text Charlotte “tell me when 5/10 gets 6 on the list at Aria” and she’ll let you know.

If you’ve ever heard “Dude, there was a sick 5/10 game that popped off at South Point last night! They almost never get anything bigger than $1/$3” You know that game was good. But what if you could be alerted to “random” events like that and actually get into these games? With Table Scout, Charlotte can do exactly that.

Oh, and there’s a heatmap which is actively monitoring every game. So Charlotte knows exactly when games usually start, end & when weird shit happens. Here’s Aria 2/5 games that ran over the last 7 days.

  1. WSOP Bag Buddy - Automatic updates on your competition

Picture this, you register for a WSOP event. You’re walking to your newly assigned table. Your phone buzzes.

Yes, she has the ability to see real time chip counts & actual profit and loss because she’s back-tracked every single buy-in and cash in the WSOP database (even daily deepstacks and satellites). If it’s WSOP, she has the data. Go ahead and look yourself up on the WSOP DB.

Not so interesting fact: Since 2024 I’m down $12k in WSOP events. Secondary fun fact: My first name is actually Julian, I just go by Art.

  1. TritonDB- See how the high rollers are REALLY doing.

Just like WSOP DB, except there’s hand histories!

Triton posts all their data back to 2018. So I could dig up some really cool stuff. And Charlotte has access to all of it. Check it out here: Triton DB

Not so fun fact: Nick Petrangelo is BURIED in Triton events.

  1. Poker Tracker- Track your sessions in plain english

Just tell Charlotte “Starting Bellagio 5/10. In for 1500.” She’ll do the rest. You can even sell MTT packages or have her automatically update your backer every session when you start/stop a cash session, and when you cash a tournament.

There’s a lot more in the pipeline. I’d love to get as many people as possible on board to have the best gambler’s assistant possible. The start-up free trial is supposed to be 8 days. But if you use this referral link you get a whole month free.

Give it a try! I’ve since added knowledge of all the great poker events going on in Las Vegas this summer. She can add them to your calendar and let you know what’s best to play today. Here’s what else she can do:

If you’ve got an idea for more Charlotte features just reply to this email. There’s a whole other part of her that’s a personal assistant for non-poker users too. She can buy concert tickets, keep your social network healthy, and lots more to come!
